Social Media Posts Plans
We chatted to the company’s founder George Lambert about his experience working with 100 Pound Social.
Lambert Labs began working with 100 Pound Social four years ago when the company was just one or two people.
“You did a good job of getting us up and running on social media, getting us a following on Twitter,” George recalls.
George says the main challenge for Lambert Labs’ social media was a lack of in-house expertise.
“No one in the team, myself included, is well-suited to running social media channels,” he says.
He says Lambert Labs wanted to build a following across its social media channels to show it is a serious company.
“If somebody happens to look at our Twitter and we don’t have any followers, it makes us look pretty small: we just have to look reputable,” he explains.
“We are business to business so we aren’t actively selling to consumers: we aren’t in the business of trying to get 1000s and 1000s of followers.”
George signed up for the Posts Plan, opting for three posts per week to the company’s LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter profiles.
Each month, a dedicated Content Creator and Editor craft posts for Lambert Labs’ social media channels.
George recalls that he was really impressed with the Onboarding Process, specifically the Onboarding Form.
“We were able to tell you our requirements,” he says.
He says he has also been impressed by the Content Creator’s ability to write posts for his niche industry.
“It is a mix of serious and fun posts, and they have been on target in terms of our industry and the sector we work in,” George says.
“We work in what I imagine is quite a difficult field for someone who, in reality, won’t know much about software development and cloud computing, to run a social media channel – it’s quite different than selling a consumer product like a drink or shoe, a product that anyone can understand.”
George says he no longer needs to think about Lambert Labs’ social media management.
“It’s on autopilot,” he says.
“We just have to look reputable and that’s what you’ve helped us achieve.”
He says while his business has grown from a one-person company to an established player in software development and cloud computing, 100 Pound Social has allowed them to focus its skills on the most productive areas.
“I would recommend 100 Pound Social because the plan allows you to focus on the crux of your business,” he says.
“Your team is friendly, and you care for your customers, but are also pretty efficient in the background!”
“I think having a four-year working relationship without any problems is pretty good, really!”
