We chatted to the company’s Co-Founder and CEO Charles Wardman about his experience working with 100 Pound Social.
Before this, Wardman UK lacked any social media presence.
“As a business, LinkedIn is a really important place for us to be able to communicate what matters. For introverts who are very wary of social media, 100 Pound Social gives us the means to be present,” he says.
Charles recalls that finding the right social media company to work with was important to Wardman UK because their team wanted to find a company where a relationship of trust could be built.
“100 Pound Social was solving a personality challenge,” he explains.
“I saw the web page and I was instantly attracted to the total lack of BS.”
“We have very few suppliers who make it over the line, and you guys did. I think it’s because there’s a feeling of integrity with 100 Pound Social, which in the social media management space is usually somewhat lacking.”
Charles signed up for the Posts Plan, opting for 3 three posts per week to Wardman UK’s LinkedIn and Facebook pages.
Every month, a dedicated Content Creator and Editor craft bespoke social media posts for Wardman UK’s social media channels.
“The posts absolutely could have been written by a member of my team,” Charles says.
“You guys are delivering on everything you said you would deliver on, and you’re doing it consistently.”
He recalls the onboarding process was a positive experience.
“By default, when you are employing a professional, you don’t know better. What 100 Pound Social did was guide us through the process and that allowed us to have confidence from beginning to end,” Charles says.
“It’s paying dividends because we are not having to constantly rehash and change, and it allows for a competent, relaxed approach throughout.”
“It also allowed time to build up a relationship which is crucial when you’re letting somebody speak on your behalf.”
Since partnering with 100 Pound Social, Charles says Wardman UK’s LinkedIn following has grown fivefold.
“The plan has grown our audiences and prepared them for increased engagement when they are ready,” he says.
“It was key for us to drive up an audience who will be receptive to our message when we are ready to start talking.”
He adds that he puts little time into the plan.
“The fact that we don’t have to think about it is super. You prompt us and it gets done,” Charles says.
“You know the good fast cheap paradigm? The triangle where you have good, fast, and cheap at each corner, but you can only have two of them? 100 Pound Social breaks it.”
“Stick to what you’re doing, please don’t change it.”
