We chatted to Steve about his experience with 100 Pound Social’s social media management services. Before partnering with 100 Pound Social, Steve says Core Consultants had no online presence.

Steve says when he came to 100 Pound Social he was hoping to use social media to build Core Consultants’ online presence and promote their unique way of providing talent to clients.
“We were a cutting edge company working with large clients, but we didn’t have an online presence to substantiate our work. We wanted to build an image that reflected our services and expertise.”
He says while social media is important, he did not want to do this himself because it was not a core activity of his business.

Steve signed up for the Posts Plan opting for 3 posts per week being published to the Core Consultants LinkedIn page, as well as Steve and his colleague John’s personal LinkedIn profiles.
He says getting started was easy and that his Customer Success Manager guided him through the process and has always been very responsive. “Everyone was perfectly helpful and it was not very invasive.”
Steve says that 100 Pound Social has ensured that when Core Consultants’ prospects and clients look at their company on LinkedIn, they “see some action”.
He says: “it’s about having that presence and 100 Pound Social has done that job. There are so many people I’ve spoken to who’ve said ‘I really liked your post on XYZ’, and my friends now tell me I’m an insane LinkedIn poster!”
With the Posts Plan, Core Consultants’ dedicated Content Creator and Editor create custom social media posts for the business every month.
Steve says the plan has increased Core Consultants’ presence on LinkedIn. “People see a drip feed of our logo and it reinforces that we are a proper and established business.”
In terms of the posts themselves, Steve says there has been a perfect balance between promotional content and posts about relevant industry topics such as technology and diversity and inclusion.
“I am always quite surprised by how accurate the posts are to the style we are trying to get across,” says Steve.
“I am more than happy with 100 Pound Social and have recommended them multiple times.”
