HR Recruitment Agency The Talent Crossing Sees “Exponential” Audience Growth with Professional Social Media
“The quality and the richness of the content is frequently commented on by our stakeholders… and our audience engagement has gone up exponentially.”
Case Study
The Talent Crossing is a niche recruitment agency with a difference — they’re proud to champion people and continue raising the bar for the industry, one hire at a time. They specialise in HR recruitment for creative, digital, media, and tech businesses, and approach every project in a way that’s human first.
The Talent Crossing was referred to 100 Pound Social by a member of their own team that had a huge amount of success with our services, and they then signed up for the Posts Plan.
In this case study we speak to founder, Liz Hewitt, about working with 100 Pound Social.
Liz says that before finding 100 Pound Social, The Talent Crossing team were missing consistency and quality in their social media strategy:
“We were looking at our strategy and saw a big gap in our ability to be able to fulfil social media and content needs. Though we were attempting social media in-house, it was taking away from us doing other things.
As a growing business, we didn’t have the specialist skills and ability in that area — and this was reflected in the content. We recognised that consistency is key, particularly in our market, and saw the need to outsource here. So we took the plunge.”
Onboarding
The onboarding process was seamless for Liz. She says, “It was very thorough and you put a lot of time and energy up-front into understanding our business — to get the tone of voice and feel for the content just right.”
Results
The Talent Crossing opted for 3 posts per week crafted for them and posted to a personal and a company LinkedIn profile.
“Now more than ever, it’s important to engage with our audience around subjects that really matter to them. The content has to be relevant for the industries we support, and I think you’ve done a really good job of navigating that,” says Liz.
“It’s a very small and unique niche which you’ve managed to find some brilliant content for, and you take on a multifaceted approach to our multifaceted business.”
Reputation
Liz says The Talent Crossing’s reputation has been elevated.
The quality of the content is often commented on by stakeholders and others in their network, and The Talent Crossing is now known for thought leadership within their space. Not to mention, their engagement has increased dramatically!
Importantly, Liz is glad to find that “the plan allows us to focus our energies, time, and attention on our roles.”
“It’s elevated our reputation. We’re now known to be a channel or conduit for thought leadership within our space.”

Support
“The support from our Customer Success Manager is great. It’s just the right balance of support being there when it’s required but not then becoming time-consuming and labour-intensive. It’s there when we need it.”
Content Panel
The Talent Crossing team also has access to Content Panel, allowing them to see posts before they go out. Liz has found this to be very valuable. In a rapidly-changing world, “being able to ensure our messaging and stance represents us” is helpful.
Working With Us
Liz’s advice for anyone on the fence about working with 100 Pound Social:
“I would say… get off the fence and do it. It’s a no-brainer. It’s a cost-effective, seamless, brilliant way to engage with your audience in a way that elevates your reputation and your brand.
The way that the relationship is managed (between 100 Pound Social and the business) is highly-effective and is a working partnership.”
